Skincare is something I’ve always felt the need to splurge on, especially if it’s going on your face. During the past few years, I’ve found what really worked for my skin and with a few trial and errors, what didn’t. I have dry/combination skin and these products have never let me down. Here’s a list of some products I’ve stocked up on during the year!
1. Kiehl’s- Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque with Amazonian Clay
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque is a clay mask that treats all skin types. It’s great for acne-clearing, minimizing pores, and brightening. Ever since I started using this mask I’ve noticed a difference in my pores and blackheads. I usually love using beauty products that I could feel working on my skin and that’s just what this product does. After applying the mask you will feel your face tighten as the clay dries. As it dries, it pulls the dirt and bacteria from the skin’s pores and draws it to the surface. Once you wash your face it leaves your skin with a clean and refreshing bare feeling.
2. Fresh- Sugar Rosé SPF 15
Fresh Sugar Rosé is a luxury lip treatment. I’ve gone through two of these and this is my travel size, which is about to run out. It’s always been hard finding a good lip balm/ treatment product for me. Most of the time, the lip products I use don’t hydrate very long and require me reapplying almost 10 times a day, but this product is long lasting and definitely effective. The Sugar Rosé has a little bit of a natural sheer pink tint which livens up your face and gives you a healthy look. They come in different tint colors from berry, nude, pink, to a clear color which is great because the clear makes this product very versatile. Because it is a treatment, the substance almost feels like a light layer of wax but dries on feeling sheer. It contains antioxidants such as grape-seed polyphenols and vitamin A, C, and E. It also contains octinoxate and oxybenzone which protect your lips from the sun.
3. LUSH- Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner
I don’t know how many compliments I’ve had on my skin after using this product. The Lush Ro Argan Body Conditioner is like a hair conditioner but used for your body. This luxurious rose-scented conditioner leaves your skin feeling silky smooth without a sticky or greasy feeling. It’s an in shower product used after washing up. I’ve tried my fair share of moisturizers but there’s nothing like this product. It’ll last all day and make your skin feel soooooooooo smooth. AH-MAZ-ING!
4. LA MER- The Moisturizing Soft Cream
This luxury moisturizer is perfect for all skin types. It’s a long-lasting and hydrating facial cream that only requires using a pea size amount. I use this every night after applying serum and eye cream and it makes my skin look brighter in the morning. I have dry/ combination skin and usually don’t like using lightweight moisturizers because I don’t feel like it’s sufficient enough to hydrate my skin, but this cream has a medium texture and keeps your skin super soft and provides a smooth base for your makeup. It also helped with my eczema and dry spots!
5. Lancer – Glowing Skin Perfector
This lightweight treatment firms, brightens, and evens out your skin tone. It illuminates your skin and gives you a dewy finished natural look. It can also be used as a highlighter or as a foundation primer. After I moisturize, I like to mix it in with my foundation – one pump of the glowing skin perfector and two pumps of MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation. On days that I’m feeling like wearing less makeup I’ll use a pump of this skin perfector and use a powdered foundation and it leaves my skin looking radiant. I love this product because it delivers luxurious results and skin benefits. #glowgoals
6. Tatcha- Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
This skin mist feels so refreshing and brings in that extra layer of hydration needed. I wear it:
– Before moisturizing for an extra boost of hydration
– Before a hydrating masque to increase the moisturizing effect
– After a cleansing mask or peel, to soothe skin and restore moisture
– With a sheet mask to improve hydration
It helps invigorate and revitalize dull/tired skin and it’s perfect for preventing dehydration after a makeup application.
